Tasty Tuesdays!

Black Bottom Banana Cream Pie!

Can you guess why it's called that?
OMG this was superb!
I think 5 of us easily finished this pie.
EASILY...
The recipe itself is quite easy, but the result tastes like you've been slaving all day.

Black Bottom Banana Cream Pie

Ingredients:

6 tbsp butter

25-30 Nilla wafers

2tbsp sugar

4 squares BAKER'S semi-sweet chocolate

2 large bananas

1 package JELL-O Vanilla flavored instant pudding

1 3/4 cups cold milk

1 cup Cool Whip

Melt 4 tbsp butter; pour into medium bowl.
Stir in wafer crumbs and sugar.
Press remaining crumb mixture onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate.

Microwave chocolate and remaining butter for 1 minute or until butter is melted;
stir until chocolate is melted and mixture is well blended.
Drizzle over bottom of crust; top with bananas.

Beat pudding mix and milk with whisk 2 minutes; pour over bananas.
 Refrigerate 4 hours.
Top with COOL WHIP (and I added nuts)

OMG
You will NOT be disappointed.
enjoy!
